This week on Sree’s Sunday #NYTReadalong: Craig Newmark, founder of craigslist and major philanthropist. Craig has supported the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, Columbia School of Journalism, Berkeley School of Journalism, the Poynter Institute, Mother Jones, ProPublica, the Journalism Trust Initiative and many other causes.

Craig is particularly concerned with “bothsidesism” and disinformation, and has established The Craig Newmark Center for Ethics and Leadership at Poynter, The Craig Newmark Center for Journalism Ethics and Security at Columbia University and the International Women's Media Foundation among other initiatives.
