#NYTReadalong | Rashmee Roshan Lall ("This Week, Those Books")

Updated: Nov 8

Watch the recording on this website or for a better experience, watch and comment on social media:

Our guest on Sree’s Sunday #NYTReadalong is Rashmee Roshan Lall, a London-based journalist, teacher and writer. She is the creator of the “This Week, Those Books” newsletter and podcast, which connects the week’s big international news story with the world of books. Essentially, it's a news literacy project. We’ll get her take on the U.S. elections and more. She’s also a Florida voter.

We will be live at 8:30am ET / 12:30pm GMT on Sunday morning on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and our Digimentors website. If you miss the live show, you can always watch it later, on demand.

The Washington Post Non-Endorsement

Among other news items, we will certainly discuss (and share our strong opinions about) The Washington Post’s decision NOT to offer an endorsement in this year’s elections. Washington Post "On Political Endorsement" | NYT Coverage | Post Columnists Respond

We also have several special features from The New York Times that we will be reviewing.

NYT For Kids

UPDATE: This print-only section is published on the last Sunday of the month. This one is focused on the Elections. We did a deep dive on that section. The .pdf was on our website through Election Day with special permission from The New York Times. As always, we'd like to give a special shout-out to Tom Jolly (NYT Print Editor), Wayne Kamidoi (NYT Art Director) and Molly Bennet (NYT For Kids Editor) for their support. The New York Times published several of the articles from this special section on their website. It's the first time we can remember them sharing this content online. Click here for details.

If Trump Wins

We also have a .pdf of a special feature published in Saturday’s edition of The New York Times, “If Trump wins.” It’s a look at several priorities paired with NYT reporting. The print edition is in some ways more impressive than the online edition in that everything is in one place.

World Series Preview

As a bonus, we also have a .pdf of Friday’s special World Series Preview. Although there’s a preview in The Athletic, these articles are only packaged together in print. Enjoy.
